Who you are:
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for helping brands break through the clutter. You have a strong understanding of cultural trends, consumer behavior, and business goals, and you know how to turn that knowledge into strategic insights that guide creative execution. You’re equally comfortable conducting research and crafting thoughtful, persuasive ideas that push brands to new heights. Collaboration excites you, and you thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
You’ll be working 20 hours a week as a key member of our strategy team, contributing to projects across multiple industries. You’ll report directly to a Strategy Director and work closely with our design and verbal identity teams to ensure our strategies are both smart and creatively inspiring.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, cultural insights, and competitive analysis to inform brand strategy
- Develop brand positioning, messaging strategies, and creative frameworks for clients
- Collaborate with the broader Mutiny team to translate strategy into creative execution
- Lead client presentations, workshops, and discussions to gather feedback and refine strategies
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or a related field
- BA/BS required, or equivalent practical experience
Skills & Competencies
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into strategic recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for presenting ideas persuasively
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time remote role
- Experience working collaboratively with creative teams is a plus
- A passion for understanding culture, consumer behavior, and brand dynamics
